About Me and How to Contact

About Me
My name is Emilee Wysko and I am a first-year social studies teacher. In my education background, I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in History and in the process of earning my Master's in Education from Plattsburgh State University. I am also a lifetime member of Phi Alpha Theta, a national honor's society for history majors. When thinking about my days as a high school student, I loved social studies, as it was my all-time favorite subject (and, without explanation, still is!) I take great pride in discussing history and presenting information to others. As a teacher, my philosphy is to help students discover social studies through a different, interactive lens and to help ignite a spark for history that students never knew they had before! In addition, I hope to help students discover their potential and passion in school and to help them achieve success!

"Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more." -Italian psychologist Loris Malaguzzi
